WAD Capital x Herspective
On 30 April 2026, twenty female students and recent graduates came to the WAD Capital office in Brussels for a half-day session organised in partnership with Herspective and BEA Group. They worked through a live private equity case, presented their acquisition thesis to the WAD team, and took direct feedback in the room. Nina Bos and General Partner Alain Brossé answered questions on the search process, what the CEO-in-Residence role looks like from the inside, and what separates candidates who progress from those who do not. According to the European Commission, approximately 47% of European SME owners currently lack a concrete succession plan. That gap is what WAD Capital's model is built to close, and it is why the firm needs sharp analysts who can think about deals, not just describe them.
How can students get involved at WAD Capital?
WAD Capital's analyst internship places students on live SME acquisition work: deal sourcing, market mapping, due diligence support across Belgium. The internship is not an orientation programme. Interns work on active searches alongside current Residents, which means the work is consequential and the feedback is immediate.
