OmniSecur Group Signs Acquisition of ADL Security, Joining Two Walloon Brabant Security Installers
OmniSecur Group, a WAD Capital portfolio company led by CEO in Residence Steven Bourgeois, signed the acquisition of ADL Security SRL in October 2026. ADL Security is a security installer based in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium. It joins Alsec SA, the Nivelles-based company OmniSecur Group was built around, to form a group offering end-to-end electronic security.
Why the two companies fit
Deals between two installers rarely turn on the numbers alone. The harder questions are whether the teams work the same way, whether the technical standards match, and whether the customers overlap. According to Steven Bourgeois, the conversations with ADL Security began months before signing and the fit showed up on three points: company culture, technical expertise and region. He describes the result as a group with a human scale.
The two companies
ADL Security has secured industrial, commercial and private properties from Braine-l'Alleud, Walloon Brabant, since 1984. It stays independent of equipment brands, choosing the technology that fits each client, and it is INCERT-certified.
Alsec was founded in 1987 in Nivelles, also in Walloon Brabant. Steven Bourgeois acquired it in November 2025 through an SME succession, as part of WAD Capital's CEO in Residence programme, and it became the foundation of OmniSecur Group. Like ADL Security, it is INCERT-certified, and it also holds BOSEC certification for fire detection.
BOSEC is a voluntary Belgian certification mark for installers of automatic fire detection systems. According to the company, it means installations built to recognised Belgian standards, accepted by insurers and authorities, with fewer disputes after a claim and the assurance that the system is installed and maintained to professional standards.
What changes for clients and employees
For clients, the group brings intrusion detection, CCTV, access control, fire detection and monitoring together in one place, delivered by teams that stay close to them, with technology chosen to fit each client. Both companies serve Walloon Brabant, from Nivelles and Braine-l'Alleud, so clients in the area deal with one group covering their region.
For employees, it means a larger talent pool of colleagues to learn from and share expertise with, and access to the latest technologies.
ADL Security is the second company in OmniSecur Group. For the reasoning behind adding companies one at a time, see WAD Capital's article on buy-and-build strategy in fragmented SME markets.
