About Wim
Wim Heyvaert is a commercial and general management executive with more than 30 years of experience in international B2B, industrial and engineering-driven businesses, spanning five industries and teams across EMEA, the Americas and Asia-Pacific. Since 2006 he has run his own interim management and advisory practice, taking on C-level and board mandates in restoring profitability through growth, business transformation, turnaround, digitisation and post-merger integration for privately held, listed and private equity-backed companies. After two decades of transforming other people's businesses as an interim leader, he joined WAD Capital in 2026 to acquire, lead and grow a company of his own for the long term.
Mission
Acquire and grow a construction and demolition waste recycling business in Flanders, partnering with a founding family preparing for succession. Wim will lead the business hands-on, from the yard itself. His focus is on making it simple to work with for contractors, moving its output towards certified, higher-value materials, and growing over time alongside other family-owned yards.
