  • Data Retention: Your information will be retained for up to 12 months after the recruitment process concludes, unless further retention is required by law or you have explicitly consented to extended retention for future opportunities.

You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.

  • International Transfers: If your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure that appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

4. Accuracy of Information

You affirm that all information provided is true, complete, and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Any misrepresentation or omission of facts may result in disqualification from the selection process or termination of any subsequent engagement.

5. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property

  • Candidate Materials: Any CVs, pitch decks, case studies, or other documents you upload remain your property. By submitting them, you grant WAD Capital Partners permission to review these materials for the sole purpose of evaluating your candidacy.

  • Confidential Information: We will treat your application materials as confidential and will not disclose them to third parties outside the scope of the selection process without your consent, unless required by law.

6. Engagements Terms

Any offer of programme participation (e.g., CEO-in-Residence) is contingent upon successful completion of all required checks (e.g., references, background) and upon mutual agreement of final terms. All engagements are also subject to compliance with applicable Belgian and EU commercial laws and regulations.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

All matters relating to this selection process are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any dispute arising from or in connection with this process is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ghent, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to update or modify this Disclaimer at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our application portal or careers page. Your continued use of our application system after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Disclaimer.
